Welcome to Launch Jax. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at launchjax.com (the "Site") and any programs, services, applications, or content offered by Launch Jax LLC ("Launch Jax," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Site, submitting an application or nomination, contributing to a campaign, expressing partnership interest, or otherwise engaging with Launch Jax, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Launch Jax is a for-profit Florida limited liability company operating an entrepreneurship ecosystem in Jacksonville, Florida. Our work is built on three pillars: Educate, Mentor, and Connect.
We are not a nonprofit organization, charity, or 501(c)(3) entity. Contributions made to Launch Jax programs (including Launch 180 campaigns) are not tax-deductible charitable donations. Contributions represent voluntary investments in Launch Jax programs and the entrepreneurs we support.
You must be at least 18 years old to submit an application, nomination, partnership inquiry, or contribution. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Florida law.
Specific programs (such as Launch 180) have additional eligibility criteria described on their respective pages. Meeting those criteria does not guarantee acceptance.
The Site contains forms and surveys that let you submit Launch 180 applications, nominate entrepreneurs, offer services, or express partnership interest. By submitting any form, you agree that:
Submission of an application, nomination, or partnership inquiry does not guarantee acceptance, selection, or partnership with Launch Jax. Selection decisions are made at Launch Jax's sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide reasons for any decision, and our decisions are final.
Nominations submitted on behalf of others are kept confidential as a matter of practice. We reach out to nominated entrepreneurs directly when appropriate. We make no warranty that nominated information will remain confidential in all circumstances (for example, if disclosure is required by law).
Campaign contributions are processed through PayPal. Program fees and partnership fees may be processed through PayPal, invoicing, or other channels Launch Jax designates. By making a payment, you agree to the terms of the applicable payment processor.
Campaign contributions are used to fund the corresponding Launch 180 recipient's runway as described on the campaign page. Launch Jax retains discretion to allocate contributions to the most pressing operational needs of the recipient and the program. We make no representation that any specific line item will be funded by your contribution.
Because Launch Jax is a for-profit entity, contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations under U.S. tax law. Consult your tax advisor if you have questions about how a contribution may apply to your particular situation.
The Site and all content, branding, text, graphics, logos, photographs, images, videos, software, and other materials on it (collectively, "Content") are owned by or licensed to Launch Jax LLC and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The name "Launch Jax," the Launch Jax logo, the "Launch 180" program name, and related marks are trademarks of Launch Jax LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
You retain ownership of information you submit through forms and surveys. By submitting information, you grant Launch Jax a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that information for the purpose of evaluating your submission, administering our programs, and operating Launch Jax in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Use of those services is governed by the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. Launch Jax is not responsible for third-party services and makes no representations about their availability, accuracy, or security.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY LAUNCH JAX ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launch Jax disclaims all warranties, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
Information provided on the Site or in our programs is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, or business advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAUNCH JAX LLC, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY LAUNCH JAX PROGRAM.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LAUNCH JAX IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Launch Jax LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) information you submit to Launch Jax, or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Launch Jax may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
